Our Technical Practice covers multiple technical domains related to digital and ICT sectors. We have world class Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and provide practical advice based on previous experience in strategic and operational roles within the industry.
We work with governments, service providers and donor institutions to optimize decision making and implementation of public policy, regulation and public-private partnerships. We also provide economic analyses to support the other Salience business practices, including statistical analysis, network costing, valuation and auction design.
Working with international development banks, public and private investment vehicles, our economists and financial experts enable crucial insights into the risks and likely outcomes of digital infrastructure investments – all based on real-world pragmatism and industry experience.
The beginnings
Salience was established in Dubai, UAE in 2010 by ex-telco executives as boutique consultancy providing quality advice based on practical industry knowledge
Geographic expansion to Africa, Europe and Central Asia
Salience expanded both geographically and service wise working with international development banks such as World Bank/IFC and EBRD to provide advice across Eastern Europe, Africa and Central Asia.
Service expansion into mega cities and wider digital infrastructure
Support innovative ICT and Mega City developments in KSA, Data Centre, Cloud and Internet Exchange developments in Africa, Energy sector connectivity developments.
